Bhimtal is nestled on Kumaon Hills at an elevation of 1371 meters at a distance of 18 kms from Nainital in Uttrakhand. While some tourists know of Nainital, there are still many travelers who are unaware of this little treasure called Bhimtal, which is just a few kilometers away from the well-known hill station called Nainital.
This small town gets its name from Bhim - one of the Pandav brothers in the great Indian epic Mahabharata. This place is famous for its lake - It is also one of the largest lakes in the district of Nainital. The lake also has a beautiful island in the center with an Aquarium atop. We pick you up from Delhi Airport/ Railway Station, and the travel journey will be started from there. Travel Delhi to Haridwar, by road.
On reaching Haridwar, check-in at the hotel and relax for some time. Haridwar is one of the most popular holiest cities of Uttarakhand, Haridwar is known for having a large number of temples and Har-ki-Pauri that is a popular ghat where people take a dip in the water of Ganga River to wash away all their sins.

After breakfast, check- out from your hotel and head towards Joshimath. As you arrive in Joshimath, get a cable car to reach Auli. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayan peaks surrounding you with Oak forests, lying right below, while you are in the cable car. The cable car connecting Joshimath and Auli is one of the longest ropeways in Asia.
On reaching Auli, check-in at a resort. Enjoy the view of the sunset behind the Nanda Devi and other snow-clad peaks from your room. Auli is popular for being a Skiing destination in India. Trekking and skiing enthusiasts from all around the world come to Auli for some life experiences. Later, enjoy dinner and bonfire music. Stay overnight at the resort in Auli.
After breakfast, move towards the slopes to learn the basics of skiing. The experience is going to be your lifetime experience. Lunch at the resort, enjoy a guided trek to Lake Valentine through thick pine forests and savor enchanting views of Helang Valley.

After breakfast, set out for a sightseeing tour of Joshimath, the winter seat of Lord Badrinath. Joshimath is one of the four ‘maths’ that were founded by Adi Shankaracharya. Mukteshwar is situated at an altitude of 2285 m above the sea level, Mukteshwar is a pleasant hill town. The place has its name from Lord Shiva’s temple, Mukteshwar Dham.
