Pindari Glacier is located in in Bageshwar of Kumaon Region, which is the main source of Pinder river which merge with the Alaknanda river in Karnaparayag of Garhwal region. This trail passes through ancient rich cultural villages, thick forest of Oak, taxus, Devdara, Silver Furs, Rhododendron, Paper Buck and many more varieties of Flora and Fauna.
This trail offers panromic breathtaking view of Valley and Himalyan ranges peaks like Mt. Baljuri(5922Mtr), Panwalidwar(6663 Mtr), Nandakhat(6670 Mtr.), Traill’s pass(5311),Changuch peak(6582 Mtr.), Nandakot(6861mtr) etc. According to myth Pandavas done pind dan in this places before going to heaven after that this place is know as Pindari.

Short Trekking Itinerary of Pindari Glacier
Day 1: Kathgodam to Khati Village (11 hours drive)
Day 2: Khati to Dwali (12 kms trek)
Day 3: Dwali to Phurkiya base camp (5 kms trek)
Day 4: Phurkiya to Pindari Glacier zero point back to Phurkiya and then Dwali (14 kms trek)
Day 5: Dwali to khati village (12 kms trek)
Day 6: Khati to Kathgodam. Tour ends.
Arrive Kathgotham around 6:30 Am in the morning, our vehicle will be ready and will move for Bageshwar and then finally to Khati village.
Khati is the biggest village that you will come across on the trek to the Pindari glacier. The trail passes through the thick forest of Rhododendrons. It the last village en-route Pindari & Kafni glacier. Khati is situated on the bank of the Pindar river. Dinner & Night Stay in Khati Village in tents.
After Breakfast Trek to Dwali from Khati Village (12 kms). Today trek goes along with the Pindar River. Dwali is situated at an altitude of 2,800mts. Night stay in Dwali Camps.
After after late breakfast in Dwali Trek to Phurkiya Base Camp From Dwali (5kms). The trek from Dwali to Phurkia is steep and graded at a moderate level. Phurkia is the last place enroute Pindari glacier. There is a beautiful waterfall just before Phurkia where you can rest for a while. Dinner & Night stay in Phurkiya in Tents.
After Breakfast trek early morning to Pindari Glacier (ZERO Point) From Phurkiya Base Camp. Today's trek offers a spectacular view of the mighty Himalayan range. If you spend more time at the Zero point start Early.
The mouth of the Pindari glacier is named as zero point. It is situated at an elevation of 3,500mts. Post lunch, we will return Back to Dwali via Phurkiya. Dinner & Night stay in Dwali camps.
After Breakfast we will start trek to Khati village. Dinner & Night stay in Tents in Khati.
We will depart from Khati village after early breakfast. Our tour services will end at Kathgodam.
