Unlock the beautiful valleys and meadows of Uttarkashi in your next adventure trip to Uttarakhand. In a specially curated itinerary there is a lot to cover in a short span of time, Dayara Bugyal, Harsil Valley, Mukhba Village, Gartang Gali to name a few.
Meet our team in Raithal before starting the trek to Dayara Bugyal. We camp a couple of kilometres before Dayara Bugyal and span the length and breadth of the meadow next day. On Day 03 after finishing the trek we drive to Harsil after taking a short break at the thermal spring of Gangnani.
You can indulge in an evening stroll to Mukhba Village for visiting the temple and the winter residence of Goddess Ganga. When in Harsil you can stroll to the streets of the beautiful and rustic Bagori Village after crossing 07 pretty bridges. You can also drive to Gartang gali and to see the ancient silk trade route and the hanging wooden bridge.
Rafting in the white water of Bhagirathi is also made possible now by a team of pioneers in water sports led by Mr. Shalabh Gahlaut. This can be availed at an extra cost, prior booking is mandatory.
Short Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Raithal
Day 2: Raithal to Chilapda Hut (7 kms trek)
Day 3: Chilapda Hut - Dayara Bugyal - Bakaria Top - Chilapda Hut (trek 10 kms)
Day 4: Chilapda Hut - Raithal - Harsil
Day 5: Harsil Valley Exploration
Day 6: Departure from Harsil
Arrive at Raithal, the base camp for the Dayara Bugyal trek. Check into your accommodation, relax, and acclimatize to the altitude. Attend a briefing session about the trek and get to know your fellow trekkers. Take a short evening stroll around Raithal to enjoy the scenic surroundings.
Start your trek from Raithal to Gui Village (7,860 feet). The trail takes you through dense forests and charming Himalayan villages.
Reach Gui Village for lunch and continue another hour hike to set up your camp at Chilapda. Spend the evening enjoying the beautiful sunset views.
Trek from Chilapda to Dayara Bugyal (11,181 feet). The trail offers panoramic views of the Gangotri and Black Peak ranges.
Arrive at the vast meadows of Dayara Bugyal and further trek to Bakaria Top (12,000 feet) for 360 Degree views. Spend the day exploring Dayara Bugyal and its surroundings. Return to Chilapda camp in the evening.
Descend from Dayara Bugyal to Raithal. Explore the local culture and traditions. Attend a debriefing session and celebrate the successful completion of the trek.
Post lunch, drive to Harsil Valley which is just 2 hour drive from Raithal. Check into our property Sunder Homestay at Harsil. For an evening stroll we visit Mukhba Temple, the winter place of Gangotri Temple.
Explore the charming village and the banks of the Bhagirathi River. We visit Bagori Village by crossing 07 small beautiful bridges. You can also do rafting in the beautiful destination or even go for a hike to either Sattal or Gartang Gali.
Check out from your homestay in Harsil and drive back to Dehradun / Rishikesh.
