By Air : Nearest airport is at Jollygrant which is 162 Kms from Uttarkashi. From here, either board a taxi for Rishikesh (20kms) and board a bus from Rishikesh to Uttarkashi or directly board a taxi for Uttarkashi.
By Train : Nearest railway station is at Rishikesh which is 145 Kms from Uttarkashi. You can board a train for Rishikesh. If direct train is not available, board a train for Haridwar from there either board a bus or hire a taxi for Uttarkashi. Hemkunt Express, Howra Express, Bandra Express, Shatabdi Express, Upasna express, Janta Express are some important trains to Haridwar from different parts of country.
