Uttarkashi is well connected by motorable road to Dehradun (190kms), Rishikesh (143kms), Haridwar (168kms), e.t.c One can board direct buses to Uttarkashi from these places. If you want to opt for train, board a train for Dehradun, Rishikesh or Haridwar railway station and then either board a bus or hire a cab for Uttarkashi. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant airport Dehradun, daily flights are avilable from Delhi. From Jolly Grant Airport, you can hire a taxi for Rishikesh which is 20 kms from there and board a bus for Utarkashi or directly hire a taxi for Uttarkashi from the airport.
