The 14km trek to Bhojwasa from Gangotri goes through Bhoj Kharak and Chirbasa. The trek goes through rugged terrains along with the Bhagirathi River flowing alongside. Bhojbasa is situated at an elevation of 3,800mts above sea level, 4kms before Gaumukh glacier. Bhojbasa is a vast open expanse of land in the valley. The GMVN Tourist Rest House at Bhojwasa provides accommodation in dormitory.
Note : GMVN Bojwasa TRH remain open only in summer months.
