Getaway Jungle Camp is located at Sattal which is known as the Town of Seven Lakes. Sattal is famous for its pristine freshwater lakes in the Kumoan region of Uttarakhand. The seven lakes are among the few unspoiled and unpolluted fresh water bodies in India.
The camp is surrounded by dense oak forests and green belts which is frequented by barking deers. The camps are nestled amid the greenery under the tree groves. The mountainous terrain offers trekking, rappeling, mountain biking, rock climbing and many more.
Location of Hotel Getaway Jungle Camp
The camp is located at Sattal in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. It is perched at an elevation of 4000 feet above sea level. The seven lakes offer homage to wide variety of migratory birds. Sattal has recorded more than 500+ species of migratory birds whose melodious voice preludes the air with vitality. Its a bird watchers paradise where a wide variety of birds such as kingfishers, red billed blue magpie, blue throated and brown headed barbets can be easily spotted. The heavenly place is also a home to more than 525 species of colourful butterflies. The area has recorded more than 11,000 species of moths, beetles and about 20 species of mammals.

The camp offers comfortable lodging in three different kinds of tents which are classified as Deluxe Jungle Safari, Basic Jungle Safari Tents and Two/Four Man Alpine Tents. The Deluxe Jungle Safari Tents offers 02 camp cots, a writing desk with chair and complimentary furniture. Basic Jungle Safari Tents possess 04 ground beds, table and a shoe rack. Two/Four Man Alpine Tents comprises of ground floor bedding for 02 to 04 persons for real camping experience. Two comfort station block houses Indian as well as western styled toilets and bathing tents facilitated with hot water.

The experienced chefs serve authentic food which is prepared on prior request of the guest. Tasteful food is served which is pre decided by the guests from the camps exotic menu. Scrumptious meals are served in the camps dining area in the warm and friendly ambience. Bonfire nights are also arranged which is accompanied by soothing music and delicious snacks.

How to Reach Hotel Getaway Jungle Camp in Sattal
By Road : Sattal being a famous tourist destination is well connected with motorable roads. Buses to Kathgodam and Nainital are easily available from ISBT Anand Vihar, Delhi. Taxis are also available from major destinations of Kumaon region in Uttarakhand state. The distance to Delhi and Sattal can be covered within 6 to 7 hours which is approximately 308 km.
By Rail : Kathgodam railway station is the nearest rail head to Sattal located about 33 km. Trains run at regular intervals to Kathgodam as it serves as the Gateway of Kumaon region. Buses and taxis are easily available from Kathgodam and Haldwani to Sattal.
By Air : Pantnagar Civil Aerodrome situated about 61 km is the nearest airport from Sattal. It serves as a domestic airport with daily flights to Delhi and Chandigarh. Taxis are easily available to Sattal from Pantnagar Airport. The distance from Pantnagar Airport and Sattal can be easily covered within 02 hours.
