Uttarakhand, also known as Uttaranchal, is the 27th state of the Republic of India formed on 9th November 2000. Situated in the foothills of the western Himalayan range, Uttarakhand share International border of India with Tibet(China) and Nepal. Uttarakhand is divided into two divisions known as Garhwal Division and Kumaon Division.
